Sizing & what's included

What size dumpster do I need?

We run 14-yard units — the size that fits the most jobs and the most driveways. That's roughly five full pickup-truck loads. It handles a kitchen or bath remodel, a two-car garage cleanout, a roofing tear-off up to about 25 squares, a 12×16 deck, or a good chunk of a whole-house cleanout. Bigger job? We schedule a swap-out so you never sit around waiting with a full box. Try the "will it fit" estimator on the home page.

What's included in the price?

Delivery, placement on boards, pickup, up to 5 days on site and 1 ton (2,000 lb) of landfill disposal. One flat number.

What if I go over a ton?

Extra weight is billed at the landfill's per-ton rate, prorated. Household junk, wood and drywall almost never go over. Shingles, concrete, brick, dirt and tile do — tell us up front and we'll price the load correctly so there's no surprise.

Can I keep it longer than 5 days?

Yes — call before day five and we'll extend at a flat daily rate. If you finish early, call and we'll pick it up sooner.

How full can I fill it?

Level with the top rail. Every load gets tarped for the road, so anything above the rail has to come off before we can haul.

What can & can't go in

What can't I put in the dumpster?

Never:

  • Tires
  • Paint, stain, solvents and thinners
  • Motor oil, fuel, antifreeze and other automotive fluids
  • Batteries (car or household)
  • Propane tanks and pressurized cylinders
  • Asbestos or suspected asbestos materials
  • Medical waste, needles, biohazards
  • Pesticides, herbicides, pool chemicals and other hazardous chemicals
  • Refrigerators, freezers, A/C units and dehumidifiers with refrigerant still in them
  • Railroad ties

OK with a small landfill surcharge — tell us first: mattresses and box springs, TVs and monitors, and some electronics.

Not sure? Text a photo. We know where most of it can legally go.

What CAN go in?

Construction and remodel debris (drywall, lumber, trim, cabinets, flooring, siding, windows, doors), roofing shingles (priced by weight), furniture, general household junk, boxes and packaging, yard waste and brush, appliances without refrigerant, fencing, decking, carpet and pad.

Can I put concrete, dirt or brick in it?

Yes, but weight is the issue — a 14-yard filled with concrete would be far over the road limit. We load heavy material to a marked fill line and price it as a heavy load. Call first so we send the right setup.

Delivery & placement

Where can the dumpster go?

Anywhere flat and firm with about 60 feet of straight approach and 14 feet of overhead clearance. Driveways are ideal. Gravel, grass and soft ground usually get the trailer dumpster instead of the roll-off.

Will it damage my driveway?

We set every roll-off on wooden boards so steel never touches your concrete or asphalt. On hot summer days asphalt can soften — boards handle that too. The trailer sits on rubber tires.

Do I need a permit?

Not on your own property. If it has to sit on a public street, Union, Washington, Pacific and most St. Louis County municipalities require a right-of-way permit. We'll tell you what your town wants when you book.

Do I need to be home?

No. Send a photo with an X where it goes and tell us which way the door should face. We'll text when it's down.

How soon can you deliver?

Usually within one to two days in Franklin County, sometimes same-day. Weekends book first — for a Saturday project, call by Wednesday.

Junk removal

How is junk removal priced?

By volume — how much truck or dumpster space it fills — plus any landfill surcharges. Text photos and we'll send a firm number. We confirm it in person before we touch anything.

Do you donate or recycle?

When something's usable we try to get it to a local charity or resale shop, and scrap metal is recycled. It's cheaper for you and better than the landfill.

Can you do a hoarding or estate cleanout discreetly?

Yes. Tell us what you need — unmarked, early morning, a walkthrough first to set aside keepsakes. We've done these many times and we're respectful about it.
